The Spotlight Reporting Wellington Blaze have made it a tremendous 10 out of 10 in the regular season en route to the 2022 Dream11 Grand Final.
Blaze repeated their unbeaten feat from the 2019/20 Dream11 Super Smash regular season - an ominous warning for their rivals heading into their Grand Final at Seddon Park this Saturday, where they will meet either the Otago Sparks or Auckland Hearts for the trophy.
Northern Brave have meanwhile finished with the dreaded wooden spoon after a 54-run loss against the top side in the league, at the Cello Basin Reserve this afternoon.
Northern bravely sent their hosts in, but made an exciting start with the ball with three huge wickets - the WHITE FERNS trio of Sophie Devine, Melie Kerr and captain Maddy Green - all falling cheaply.
Youngster Georgia Plimmer (27) got a fast start meanwhile, and got the Blaze to 50/3.
That laid a platform for Leigh Kasperek (29) and Thamsyn Newton (38 off 23) to come in and lift the tempo and their side, Blaze again showing their depth and cool heads in any situation.
The Blaze finished their 20 at 154/9 with Ireland spinner Eimear Richardson picking up 3-27 and Nensi Patel (2-36) and Brooke Halliday (2-22) both walking off with a brace.
In reply, opener Kate Anderson's 37 was the only score of substance as the Blaze's classy attack put the squeeze on to go through undefeated.
Almost everyone in the attack got in on the action with Kasperek returning outstanding figures of 2-6 off her 3.2 overs as she snaffled the winning wicket in the last over with four balls to spare.
