WELLINGTON SCHOOL OF CRICKET UPDATE AT WEDNESDAY 23RD JUNE, 2021
Following the announcement from the New Zealand Government made this afternoon that from 6pm this evening we will move to Alert Level 2 until 11.59pm on Sunday evening. The Wellington School of Cricket facilities will remain open, however there will be some changes to the way that we operate until we move back to Alert Level 1.
Our changes remain the same as when we have been in Level 2 previously, and are in line with advice provided by New Zealand Cricket and Sport New Zealand. Please take some time to read through the Covid changes to WSC, along with New Zealand Cricket’s Covid Indoor Facility Recommendations attached before making any bookings.
CONTACT TRACINGThroughout Level 1, WSC has had compulsory contact tracing in place and this shift to Level 2 is a reminder of the importance of contact tracing. We would appreciate the support of all members and coaches to comply with contact tracing to ensure the safety of all users. We will be enforcing contact tracing, and any member or WSC user who fails to comply with these contact tracing guidelines will receive one warning, and then face a ban from all WSC facilities. If a WSC member is banned, their membership will be put on hold until their ban has finished.
When booking a net, Book-a-Net will require the user to input details of all attendees. In addition to this, when entering and exiting the facility, every individual will be required to scan a QR code.
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO WSCPlease note Cricket Wellington will be monitoring the facilities, and failure to comply with these changes may result in memberships being suspended, cancelled or the hirer being banned from the use of the facility.
