LET'S SHOW THEM!

Queen Margaret College student and Cricket Wellington Young Leader Dhriti Girish is one of the most engaged female cricketers in the Wellington region.

Dhriti's work in the women and girls cricket space stretches from leading the Young Leaders campaign to playing for her beloved Johnsonville Cricket Club and representing the Wellington Provincial Women's A side.

We caught up with Dhriti to hear of her excitement for the upcoming Women's World Cup and the inspiration she takes from seeing the world's best players embarking on the Basin Reserve in search of the game's biggest prize!

RUNWAY CRICKET!

To mark 100 days until the start of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, our WHITE FERNS joined the team at the Wellington Airport for a very special game!

It was Jess Kerr, Jess McFadyen and Maddy Green up against the Wellington Airport runway team, on the runway, in a friendly game of backyard cricket.

Cricket was the winner on the day!
